I'm also pretty sure that Morrissey, Lou Reed, Pansy Division, and Rob Halford did all their stuff for the purpose of impressing chicks. While DNA does appear to have a desire to replicate itself, you seem to be overlooking the fact that males (human and animal) are constantly competing, not to impress the female, but to show all the other males who is boss. The "winner" then gets to pass on his genes, not necessarily because the female wants him to, but because might makes right. By the way, if chicks really dig it, why are there hardly ever very many of them at the shows?
Yeah, the whole reason men do all the things they think will improve society is because chicks dig it. I hear that chicks in parts of Africa really dig female circumcision. And chicks in other parts the world definitely dig being treated like property, not having the right to vote, being killed by their own families to avoid bringing shame on them if they are raped, and generally being the whipping boys (girls) who pay for the sins of the males in their societies. And chicks right here at home especially dig being told what to do with their bodies. They've been totally begging for another ban on abortion for the longest time! In general I would say that chicks really dig oppression.
