Ty...you ARE indeed born to rock my friend. You are easily one of the best performers around. Alan...I would totally agree with the Beatles defense except their most revolutionary music was made after the last show at Shea stadium. They were a great pop band at the beginning, but their more far out stuff (and what really changed the course of music history)was done after they quit playing live and retired to their bedrooms so to speak. I also don't entirely agree that art has to be seen or heard to be art. Would Van Gogh be any less of an artist if noone saw his paintings.
As to the chicks dig it comment...I think you are being tongue in cheek, but unfortunately I think a lot of people probably do get into it for that. Look at AC/DC...
