When malicious gossip or slander is passed along, the humanity of three people is thereby diminished .... the one who repeats the gossip, the one who listens to the gossip, and the one who is the subject of the gossip. When a person refrains from gossiping or tale-bearing, the angels rejoice from up above.

We are looking forward to the movie. We have read everything we can on the life of Theodosia, especially the stories surrounding her untimely death. As I mentioned, my husband's great-great grandfather was Dr. William Pool who was given the Nags Head Portrait that is believed to be that of Theodosia Burr. My husband, Mark, has spent the past several years doing much family history research. We have been fascinated by the intersting facts we are discovering about the lives of his ancestors. Dr. William Pool is one of those with a very interesting story. Feel free to email us and we can feel you in with more details. Mark has also written a beautiful ballad about the lives of Theodosia and her father Aarron Burr. I'll be happy to send you a cd if you would like to hear it. Take care and best of luck on the movie.
