When malicious gossip or slander is passed along, the humanity of three people is thereby diminished .... the one who repeats the gossip, the one who listens to the gossip, and the one who is the subject of the gossip. When a person refrains from gossiping or tale-bearing, the angels rejoice from up above.

Mal, I know this has been a trying and challenging time for you with your family and your personal relationships, and your angst is reflected in your words. Always so honest....painfully so sometimes. I know you don't want to hear platitudes. But just hang in, pumpkin. Good times in life come in waves, and sometimes you just have to throw out your sorrow, beg, steal, or borrow your share of laughter....as Anthony Newly and Sammy Davis Jr. used to sing it. Dig deep. God gives us so much to play with. Even when the cards seem stacked against us, there are always pleasures to be found. Hope by the time you read this, things are in harmony again. Much love to you, Mal, from Russ and me and all in our fellowship.
