When malicious gossip or slander is passed along, the humanity of three people is thereby diminished .... the one who repeats the gossip, the one who listens to the gossip, and the one who is the subject of the gossip. When a person refrains from gossiping or tale-bearing, the angels rejoice from up above.

Hi all~ got this in an email and wanted to share it Word Records recording artist Mark Schultz and his hit single "Letters From War" (from the album Stories & Songs) are playing a key role in a public awareness campaign entitled "Be Safe - Make It Home". Mark has partnered with the Army to put together a video for the song "Letters From War" which will be used to help raise awareness of this problem, reverse the trend, and keep more soldiers safe in the days ahead. The Army is asking everyone in the U.S. to leave their front porch lights on throughout the night on Sunday, July 4, as a reminder to all soldiers to "Be Safe - Make it Home". We have heard stories that some churches are using the video in their July 4th services and we encourage you to download a copy of this touching video for use in your church's Independance day services. ~Linds~
