When malicious gossip or slander is passed along, the humanity of three people is thereby diminished .... the one who repeats the gossip, the one who listens to the gossip, and the one who is the subject of the gossip. When a person refrains from gossiping or tale-bearing, the angels rejoice from up above.

Wow...more than once this week *jaw drops*...funny how God opens the door for something when He wants it passed along. I was on my way back from a friend's house just a short while ago. I had plans to go straight home, and fall into BED. We had an awesome time but sleep was absolutely nowhere on the agenda and my body was feelin' it. However, you see I am online instead of asleep.....just yet. I heard one of the most touching songs I've heard in a LONG time and I wanted to share it with you all. It's in the form of a story, so I'll just let you think about this as you're reading the lyrics. If you were faced with any or all of these situations, what would you do? God places Himself in our lives through almost everyone we meet in some way. How do we react? Is it always the way He would want us to? I venture to say for at least myself that the answer is sometimes 'no'. This is Kirk Franklin in a duet with Crystal Lewis and the song is "Lean On Me".
For that man who doesn't have a place to stay
For the little boy living with AIDS
He has no home, he has no food and
his blue skies are gone. Can you hear
him cryin' out?
And there's a girl, searchin' for a
father and a friend,
Praying that the storm someday will end
But instead of walking away,
Open up your heart and say
I can see your tears
I'll be there in a hurry when you call
Friends are there to catch you when you fall
Here's my shoulder, you can lean on me
to be free, but there is no cure for his disease
He looks up to his mother as she hold his hand
Praying that someday the sun will shine again
and the pain will end
when I've never seen His face,
Yet I see you dying and I turn and walk away?
So hold my hand
Let me take you to a Fiend of mine
He's waiting just to ease your troubled mind
He loves you more than you'll ever know
So instead of walking away
Open up your heart and say
