When malicious gossip or slander is passed along, the humanity of three people is thereby diminished .... the one who repeats the gossip, the one who listens to the gossip, and the one who is the subject of the gossip. When a person refrains from gossiping or tale-bearing, the angels rejoice from up above.

I recently (ok so it was yesterday *g*) got Jaci Velasquez' newest CD entitled "Unspoken". Her name might now sound familiar, as she appeared in her first movie called "Chasing Pepe", but she's more widely known for her Selena-like vocals in the CCM industry. This newest CD of Jaci's provides the listener with a true insight into the struggles this young lady has recently faced. Gone is the seemingly trite, bubble gum fluff of "Life is always good simply because I believe in God." This album has songs that show her growth and change in her faith, due to the struggles she has faced. One particular song that shines to me on this album is her dtermination to remain uncynical despite her circumstances song "Glass House." I saw many people, including myself when I listened to the lyrics. Go on, take a read...see if you see yourself in the lyrics. If you do, resolve to do as she has done and let the stones be thrown. You're strong, you can take it! And if you don't think you can...ask Him to help you, that's what He's there for!!
Sometimes it feels as though
my life is like a test
With expectations that I've
got to be the best
Feel like everybody's always watchin'
One little slip gets people talkin'
So many unkind words are spoken
You see my heart is hurting,
but it's still open.
let you see so
You can throw those stones
Even though I may be fragile
You're not gonna see me shatter
'Cause I know who I am and I won't fake it
I'm gonna take a stand
'Cause it's my faith that keeps me strong
The light is on in my Glass House
My Glass House
our castle,
We think before we let the judgement calls
unravel
Our Savior said to love each other
Why must we go on
hurting one another
Though it may be easier to run and hide
You can throw those stones
Even though I may be fragile
You're not gonna see me shatter, no
'Cause I know who I am and I won't fake it
I'm gonna take a stand
'Cause it's my faith that keeps me strong
The light is on
And remember how it hurt when someone else's
world is crashin'
Lord, I pray for love, yeah
You can throw those stones
Even though I may be fragile
You're not gonna see me shatter, no
'Cause I know who I am and I won't fake it
I'm gonna take a stand
'Cause it's my faith that keeps me strong
Gonna let you in 'cause I can take it
You can throw those stones
Even though I may be fragile
You're not gonna see me shatter, no
'Cause I know who I am and I won't fake it
I'm gonna take a stand
'Cause it's my faith that keeps me strong
The light is on in my Glass House
Welcome
