When malicious gossip or slander is passed along, the humanity of three people is thereby diminished .... the one who repeats the gossip, the one who listens to the gossip, and the one who is the subject of the gossip. When a person refrains from gossiping or tale-bearing, the angels rejoice from up above.

God helps those who help themselves.... I have always espoused that belief. But when all sense of hope is gone, then just give things over to God. Amen to that, Linds.
