When malicious gossip or slander is passed along, the humanity of three people is thereby diminished .... the one who repeats the gossip, the one who listens to the gossip, and the one who is the subject of the gossip. When a person refrains from gossiping or tale-bearing, the angels rejoice from up above.

Mal - Beautifully written post, and please send me a copy of your children's story when it is completed. I love the premise and storyline, and can't wait to sink my teeth into it (get the vampire reference...). You are a lovely, lovely, thoughtful writer.
