(Trumpets Sounding) Yes just as the title says history has arrived and i'll get to the election in just a moment but first a word about my pups.
And they are both doing fine and they were with me glued to the tv as we celebrated Barack's win from last night and they too felt very happy to see history in the making.
Now as far as the election all i have to say is wow i never thought in all my years i would see this happen in front of my very own eyes. But i have to say my first choice when this election started was Dennis Kucinich and after he lost i was without a candidate and lost hope and i'll admit i wasn't into Obama at first but when i saw his speeches and the issues he stood for i felt that there was still a chance for hope yet.
And Obama has proven he was and is the voice and change this country needed and i realize now anything can happen on anything i look forward to see this 47 year old historic patriot does when he is sworn in on Jan. 20 and that day will be special as well.
Plus i wanna mention John McCain's concession speech was very gracious and well done i have alot of respect for him now. Also i wanna send my condolences to Obama's family on the loss of his grandmother she's with god now but i'm sure she's smiling at Obama from above after his historic victory.
Lastly as Obama has said in his speech change isn't easy it's going to take time and as i said before whether you're a republican or democrat we're all americans and we will get through these tough times together but Barbie i promise you this once Obama is in office we will hold his feet to the fire once he's in the white house. But for now it's a day of celebration and i want everyone to enjoy in what is indeed a historic, defining moment in our country.
