When malicious gossip or slander is passed along, the humanity of three people is thereby diminished .... the one who repeats the gossip, the one who listens to the gossip, and the one who is the subject of the gossip. When a person refrains from gossiping or tale-bearing, the angels rejoice from up above.

Hi Enzo - Hope your Independence Day was happy and fun. Gee, that story about your dad's friend and his son being crime victims was horrific. God bless them and I hope they are on the mend after suffering that kind of huge physical and emotional trauma. And I pray they apprehend the trash who are responsible. Please keep us posted. Dang if I don't hate violent crime. It is my worst thing in life by far, and I know we have all been affected by it in one way or another. Second worst thing would be gossip....I think we have all been burned by that ugly little offense too. I know I have.("A worthless man digs up evil, and his speech is like a scorching fire. A contrary man spreads conflict, and a gossip separates friends." Proverbs 16:27-28). How painfully true. And on another front, thanks for your kind words about my dad. He doesn't even know who I am much of the time now. He will just point at me and say, "That girl" ....like the whole Marlo Thomas thing. It is a cruel crippling disease. But again, thanks for your sentiments, Prince. Means a lot. Hope all is well with you and the pups and your family. All the best to you always.
