I think we are just a week or so apart. When Russ and I were newlyweds, I thought we were in for the whole fairy-tale, white picket fence deal. HA, as they say, 'Man proposes, God disposes.' It's been some ride! Bette Davis might have had it right when she once said that it is the girl who has to adjust to her husband and unless she is able to do that, there can never be a happy marriage. Smart lady, great actress. Anyway, thank you God for helping Russ and I make it through to this point. Thank you 2 or 3 good friends. Thank you 3 or 4 good marriage counselors

Good afternoon, noble one. I haven't seen the daytime nominations yet, but I agree with your statement about the writing sometimes dictating who the noms will be. In fact, I would venture to guess that the actors on my Days of our Lives were shutout completely for that exact same reason. Right? And I don't mean to diss the writers on that show....maybe they are just having a slump like all of us have, but lately the show has been way below par. Having John Black in a coma for months is a crime in and of itself! Anyway, some of the actors on DAYS are too good to be slighted year after year. Real shame. But congrats to all the fab actors who received a nomination.
