When malicious gossip or slander is passed along, the humanity of three people is thereby diminished .... the one who repeats the gossip, the one who listens to the gossip, and the one who is the subject of the gossip. When a person refrains from gossiping or tale-bearing, the angels rejoice from up above.

Mal - I so enjoyed reading your post! And you and I are on the same page with just about everything you have written. The entire ensemble of actors on the show is fabulous, and the ones you mentioned are stand-outs, I agree. Really good insights by you about the characters as well. Didn't know that Zach and Myrtle were friends. How darling that is. Your writing about the show and storylines, characters, nicknames and such helps me to keep up with things. I still split time between AMC and DOOL. But until John Black comes out of his coma on Days and the Marlena/John love story is revisited, I am with you and Russ watching All My Kids.
