Hi Katie. Thanks for the comment you left on my LJ. Things are rough, but we both have to believe they'll get better. I can't imagine what I'd do if something like that happened to my aunt. My mom's twin sister seems like one of the real connections to Mom I still have (though it's sometimes unsettling, because she's so much like Mom). But maybe you can use what you learned through your experience with your mom to help your aunt or your cousins. One of my friends' mothers was recently diagnosed with ovarian cancer and is on chemo now. I'm getting to use what I know to help Sharon. I'd love to talk to you more.
