That's really frustrating about your friend and the heart monitor-- geez. I can see why you're confused. Maybe your mom just wants to believe that he is doing well and/or that saying so helps her deal with things. I hope that your dad feels well enough to help you move next week. How do you feel about going away with things so up in the air?
