i spoke at my dad's funeral on august 4th. he had cancer on and off for 23 years, and for the past 5 years, he had been dealing with 5 primary types. his funeral wasn't just about saying goodbye, it was a celebration of his life, even though it ended when he was 49. my brother and i both spoke, and we talked a lot about funny things that my dad had done over the years, and some of the things that he had taught us. even though i am 19, my dad taught me a lifetime of amazing lessons, and sheding light on what your dad taught you will bring back good memories and will help you heal a little bit. remember to celebrate a good man's life, and you'll do just fine!
