I'm in a similar situation. My Dad was diagnosed this week, he has a malignant tumour which won't be removed for another few weeks. I'm going through Alevels which are pretty important for my future plans. He's not in hospital yet, which means I'm not splitting my time between visits and revision as you must be, but I do find it really hard to concentrate.
Have you told your school? They will often tell the exam board who will take it into consideration when marking your exams.
