He has stage IV, non small cell with mets on his neck lymph nodes. I think this is about the eighth round of chemo and it is the first one that made him lose any hair. He does really well, he is just really tired. I think it makes his blood clot or something like that, so he has to take blood thinners and they make his bones brittle. Because of that, he has had a few small fractures in his back. Other then that, it doesn't really make him very sick, just tired. He has been sick a few times, just from his immune system being compromised, like a cold or something, but that is almost expected. I can't really remember how he was affected by the tarceva, but none of them have really been that bad for him. What about your dad, what kind does he have? How are his treatments going?
