thanks for responding. hes still completely functional at this point, he goes to work as much as he can, which is incredible. my step mom is home to help him as well and he has friends in the area as well. i just feel like i should be there for moral support sometimes, and i feel so guilty that i dont even call enough. where do you go to school? i go to UC Davis (in CA). anyways, thanks so much for your help. i know my dad wants me to live my life, but its so hard to be away.
