i go to college about an hour and a half from where my dad lives. he has stage 4 lung cancer. the doctors are surprised at how 'unsick' he is, he had no symptoms apart from a pain in his back from where the cancer had spread. he has undergone a lot of treatment and is continuing treatment. should i be there, should i take this quarter off school, or should i take next quarter off? or come home on weekends? should i miss my sophmore year to be with him? i can't tell. and of course he doesn't want me to put my life on hold for him, but i want to. i dont want to regret anything. i'm so confused.
