I know that having a parent with cancer is very stressful, but is it really that much harder for the spouse of the person with cancer? I have been so upset lately over this whole situation. I have been told to do everything to make things better for my mom while she is dealing with my dad having cancer. That is almost impossible to do when I am dealing with the same thing...only in a different way. It just seems like people believe that it is less of a problem for me to deal with because I am just the kid. I don't think that is true at all. It is stressing me out to be trying to deal with the whole cancer things while being told to make things easier for my mom. I just don't really know what to do anymore. It just keeps getting harder and harder and nobody I know understands
