Its very common to blame ourselves and feel guilt,but you did whatever you could for your dad and he knows that.
I have breast cancer to my brain and bones,lungs,I know I am going to a lovely place,away from all this pain.
You didn't "give up hope" you knew what was best for HIM.I have told my family not to try anything to keep me alive but to accept the inevitable and just be with me.
We will all meet again.
