Hi,
I just picked up a '69 Vega.
It's a bit of a pig and I need some help and advice.
It's my first 'vintage' scooter.
It is a British import to California, I believe they were not imported officially, it has the 125 starstream conversion but a lot of bits are wrong/missing.
for example the airbox has been kicked off (as they do), it has a Cometa petrol tank (with the oil tank), and although it started life as a 75 it has the single 50cc seat.
It is also a pig to start (is there anything I need to know about spark/electrics?).
I want to fix her up, but all the knowledge and parts are in the U.K. I'm told.
Any and all help and direction will be greatly appreciated!
