I just bought a DL (GP) 150 but the engine casing says 150LI 88XXXX which means, I believe, a series 2 LI engine. The previous owner, an old guy, said that the shock mounting on the casing had broken and that the mechanic had installed another engine casing to solve the problem, many years ago.
My question is: when you replace the DL150 main engine casing with one from the LI mk2, do you have to change any more parts? Or everything from the DL fits? What parts do you think had to be changed (are no longer DL) during this repair? Wich ones aren't compatible? What are the diferences (if any) between the two models main engine casings?
Thanks.
