Hi,
This sounds as though the battery has simply gone flat, there may be a certain ammount of power still in the battery but not enough to turn the engine over at the right speed to start the engine. Often happens when machibnes stand, even if you start them on a regular basis, which needs to be done if you are not using the vehicle, the problem is that by doing this and not riding the scooter you are not putting enough charge back into the battery, as when the engine is running it recharges the battery but will not do so when the engine is just ticking over. Put the battery on charge and when fully charged re-fit to the scooter and from what you said hopefully that will sort out the problem. If the battery looses its charge too quickly you may need a new one.
