Hi! Has anyone more information on how to modify the 2 m mobile HTX 252 to extended TX range of 137 to 174 MHz, which when manually converted to TX-MARS extension, will do 140-148 MHz at best. RX is already possible on the entire spectrum. The HTX 242 was easily modifyable; would anyone know who made both radios for RAdio Shack? The HTX 420 is a dual hand held, same problem in the 2 m range here as well. Any tips are welcome. Thanks Klaus from Germany
