Non karters are more familiar with a 4 stroke style engine due to the mass use in other applications they may already own, therefore it would be best to promote.sell, show, televise and teach karting in this manner to attract the eye for purchasing and growth.
There is a huge market and mind space we are missing at selling go-karts and other stuff at the tracks!
We must protect the four wheels from touching one another in the slower, lower hp style go-karts,not the fast high hp professional expensive looking go-karts.
And I don't mean Arrive and drive 4 stroke go-karts and rentals go-karts...I am talking about private go-karts.
To me go-karting is designed backwards and limits any consistency for growth from the beginning to the end.
Most of the decisions made for growth seems self motivated which is not good for the masses but good for oneself.
Our most successful club in Ontario for private go-karts was and I think still is only 4 stroke race karts.
Things are changing and up for discussion now, thanks to the internet!
