This current news on the major manufacturers pulling out of F1 may turn out ok for us grass rooters?

I usually don't get involved in F1 talks because I was never really a fan or happy with the amount of money and time that was spent on F1 by major supporters of motorsports.

I day dreamt that a proper moral and major financial investment would be best at the ultimate grass roots of motorsport competition and beginner stage of 4 wheel motorsports for all ages.

I never understood the stepping stone concept in motorsports because facts display go-karting makes good car racers and not the other way around. (if you understand what I am trying to say)
I believe You must learn and maintain the craft of proper driving with bare minimum.
(bare minumum=Go-kart)

When you have to sharpen your car driving craft, go to go-karting.

It would be really nice to see the spending of 1/2 years worth of F1, spent on promoting the amateur/beginer go-karting industry.

Manufactures new form of competition could be to to get the most people they can participating in minor motorsports to achieve a major bang for more peoples participation buck and social enjoyment.

Now that there is an economic crisis and better fitness may be in order to cope, will larger manufactures take advantage of this and invest there motorsport marketing dollars finally in the ultimate grass roots motorsport ?? Go-Karting!

Please market the go-kart motorsports for the masses in this time of economic world crisis! ....
Please Invest in more People ... Not in more Speed
