From reliable sources I do recall a bunch of Honda gx-200 racers going at it in the USA in 1999? Someplace popular? I don't recall?
The Red Honda engines on karts in pictures in the US!
I remember veiwing the odd looking pictures online!
Seemed like alot of effort went into this International idea long ago but with no lasting effects.
What was and is the reason this was not and is not a success for amateur International 4 stroke go-karting.
Any kind of popular engine can power a go-kart for racing?
Others can copy kat the designs from the proven test of time of big RED.
The pro level of go-karting and the house league level of go-kart needs to be more inter graded with our industrial engine environment so more attention can be spent on producing more go-karts!
It must cost alot of money to produce an engine especially made for go-karting.
Maybe this is the reason for high kost go-karting?
If you don't look after the root structure the branches are weak.
