This is your responsibility. Sometimes we are lulled in to a false sense of security, or perhaps it is just human nature, but we must be aware of risk and danger at all times. Please assist the governing body...govern our body? Put it in writing!
Have you ever read the waiver we sign as a participant a spectator or even when we practice.
I will immediately remove myself from participation, and notify the nearest official, if
at any time I sense or observe any unusual hazard or unsafe condition or if I feel that I have experienced any deterioration in my physical, emotional or mental fitness, or that of my protective clothing, gear or equipment, for continued safe participation in the EVENT.
This is not to say that motorsports can ever be free of risk - the same can be said for any sport.
Perhaps it is just human nature, but as risk is reduced, the perceived challenge seems to dissipate.
(possible perception when G-man were used by most? Aggressive dirty drivers were not black flagged for there obvious misconduct.
You know who you are!!!
However, we must always reduce the hazards, eliminate the obvious risks and remain on the lookout for danger.
Remember: You have agreed to this when you
waiver goodbye! ![]()
