I believe this Heat style racing would again teach kart drivers how to pass, be passed and race better then the method we use today.
The older method made kart racing an exciting challenge all day and all year for all karters.
It's easy to to win when the fast karters starts at the front most all the time in any kind of race! 
Which is very boring to watch.
Did someone write it down???
