Opponents Nantwich Town took the game to the ‘Grove and played their part in a tense final. As the clock ticked down towards the impending chance of extra time, Ryan Ball showed great persistence and determination in scoring a great solo effort to break the deadlock. Minutes later a fine move, involving a number of players, was rounded off as Ben Bradshaw met a firm cross to head home. ‘Grove finished the tie off in the last minute when Ben Bradshaw fired home free kick from outside the box. Kidsgrove Athletic Youth Teams
The Under 12s went down to local rivals Alsager Town. Goals from Danny Bull and Ryan Leyland kept the Blues in contention for a good period of the game. However, late goals from Alsager opened up the gap by the final whistle.
