Posted by Jan Noller See my reply to Cookie. I would be interested to obtain a copy of the music for this song. You were born about 20 years after my Dad, and he sang the song to me as a small child. Where did you grow up and where did you get the music? My family was not musical at all, so the faint memory of any melody Dad sang is of no use to me at all. I have a very good Irish friend who plays banjo and guitar and I would love to hear the original melody for nostaligic reasons. Kind regards
