Let's beat the nicobeast together!
Posted by Ann on 11/6/2001, 12:56 pm I put the cigarette out and threw away the pack. I went to the drug store and bought some nicorette gum (I quit cold turkey). I still have the gum, untouched. My car stinks from just lighting one. It took a few days to get rid of that awful smell! It occurred to me that I have not been around any smokers for months and the sudden odor was awful. Gross!! I still crave, but I now know that I need to wait and give it some time to pass. As nasty as the sickorettes were in that pack I wasted, I kept thinking about how all I have been through would have been wasted if I didn't toss them. I still wanted to smoke. I have to say that I am thrilled to find out that I want to be a non-smoker much more. found on QuitNet, Linda
The 12th week - I was really really bad. A gut wrenching urge hit me at the wrong time and the wrong place. I am not too sure what triggered the event but I found myself sitting in my car with a pack of cigarettes in my purse. I held myself back from smoking one for about 30 minutes after I bought them. I pulled into a car wash and parked next to a trash can. I opened the pack and stuck my nose in and inhaled. I pulled one out and I lit it. Eeeeeewwwwww! The damn things stink!
