I have enjoyed your website and admire your continuing endeavor to keep the music of your Uncle living in the hearts of all who hear it. I grew up in SW OK with parents who owned and played several albums of Jim Reeves' music on a daily basis. I married a young man who was also raised on country music, so the first real vacation we took was to Nashville. We drove in to the Jim Reeves Museum, and found the gate closed and a note saying the museum was closed due to illness. We came back the next day or so and found the gate and the note again. I was so disappointed, we got out of the car and took pictures of the Big Blue bus under the carport next to the gift shop. I had told my Mom that I would bring her a coffee cup with his picture on it so that she could spend her mornings with Jim Reeves. It's funny the things you remember, but this one thing is sure. The music of Jim Reeves is timeless, and your family tribute will make sure that it will be remembered, too. Thank You.
