I grew up as far away as possible in the 50"s and 60's in a tiny alpine village in Tasmania, Australia. The strongest memory is of all of my family playing Jim Reeves' songs non stop. When He'll Have to Go came out, it was just played over and over at parties full of music, dancing, laughing, fun. Clearly for a kid this burns into their brain and to this day it is Jim's songs I play when I need to reset. From Waddamana I have traveled, lived and worked around the world, including a lot in Texas, so like a magnet even when in Paris or New York or Hong Kong, you would know I am there because of the Nashville sound coming out of my place, or unabashedly your favourites like Hank Williams. A long note, but I was so excited to have just found out about you and to hear your voice, distinctive but also reminiscent of Jim. Makes the world fine.
Great country music is a Reeves family tradition.
