I met Jim at the G rand Opening of a new bowling alley in Henderson, TX. It was around 1960. They had invited Jim and Mickey Mantle to the affair. A lady asked Jim for his autograph. He didn't have a pen, so I let him use mine. I treasured that pen for a long time and finally lost it. Jim was great! Just great!That's the best way I know to describe him
