It was while on my high school senior trip to Colorado Springs in 1957 that I first heard "Four Walls." More than any other song ever recorded, the rich velvety, yet haunting voice coming from the juke box spoke to my heart. From that memorable trip of my youth, "Four Walls" has remained my favorite throughout the years. Jim Reeves remains my favorite recording artist/performer period! In my collection from the past are 60 or so LP albums I've collected. The only regret that I have is that I never got an oportunity to meet "Gentleman Jim" in person. Thank you for posting this website. with it we all have a chance to "connect" with Jim, although in an indirect way. I grew up in Camden, Texas, a small rural sawmill community, an hour and a half southeast of Panola, in Polk County.

Great country music is a Reeves family tradition.
