How about that! another Lloyd Howell. This makes
number 4 that i know of in this USA. I too grew up
listening to Jim Reeves. I later had a small band back in the Tampa area and played a lot of Jim's songs. Jim's voice had a smooth golden tone. The band and i would stay up in the wee hours practiceing his songs. Jim was a an asset to country music and his songs will live on forever.
I'am so glad to here that his nephew John Rex is singing he songs. Since the wife and i have been listening to MidWest Country on RFD i went and got another guitar after giving it up 45 years ago and learning to play again.
