I will never forget when I heard of the death of Jim Reeves, he had always been my favorite singer. He had a voice so smooth, his songs touched your heart, some could make you cry. I loved listening to him. I collected as many of his songs I could find. He sang a song just before he died, it was a love song. The title was "Seasand". I heard it one time only, then Jim was gone. I had always wanted this song but I could never find it, not anyone knew what I was talking about. I would love to find this song. Last, my cousin Dean Manuel from Batesville, AR was killed along with Jim Reeves in the plane. There are many of the Manuel families still around.
There will never be another Jim Reeves, I will listen to this other Reeves and decide about him
