I am 70 yrs. old, and a HUGE fan of Jim Reeves, since the 50's. Oh how I cried the day he died!
I have even converted many friends who never knew who Jim Reeves was. He had the most beautiful, smooth voice, and was more handsome than any movie star. I have 3 c.d.'s in my car at all times, and listen to them everytime I turn the key on until I turn it off!! Also have them all downloaded to my computer to listen to them.
Can you tell I did and still do LOVE Jim Reeves?
I wonder if Mary is still alive? I knew she was ill a few yrs. ago, but never heard anything of her death. How sad that he left us so young, and with all that music still left to share with the world.
Only today, did I find out why I have always had such an emotional attachment to Gentlemen Jim.
We share the same Birthday, (different yrs.)
I love watching all these videos, it's almost like having him back again.
My favorite Jim Reeves songs are: "Dark Moon", I Missed Me,(at your house)", and "Blue Side of Lonesome", but am still crazy about them all!!

Great country music is a Reeves family tradition.
