Like many of you, I grew up listening to Jim Reeves and loved his music then and now. Though I grew up in Michigan, my father was born in Weatherford, Texas. I have a couple pictures taken in 1960 of my Mom and Jim. When the band took a break, she asked if he'd come by the table for a picture and, being the gentleman he was, he did. Also have an album of an actual outdoor concert Jim did. Between songs, he talks to the croud. It's a treasure I'll keep forever.
