I'm originally from the Carthage, Texas area but left there in the mid 70's. I've worked and lived in several countries since then and now make my home in Humble, Texas. I worked briefly in South Africa in 1997 and again in 2002, Gentleman Jim still has a HUGH fan base there. I was very young when Gentleman Jim died but have always been a great fan, I am especially proud to be a former resident of Panola county, I often stop by Gentleman Jim's gravesite when visiting relatives in the area, it's a fine tribute to such a fine Gentleman.
