Jim wrote this song, when he was down here on New Years Eve Dec.31,1963. We talked about it. Another singer at this time had a recording of it. I asked Jim to record it sometime he would listen to me about what I has to say,but would not confirm to me what he would do. After several months later in 1964 we visited over the phone, are some show dates nearby. I would bring the issue up about it. Jim said he would record the song it was one of the last recordings he did. I knew he recocrded it,and he did very well like all the rest of his recordings he had in the past.The visit he came down in his plane to Beeville,Texas and visited other places including Tuleta,Texas. There were other times he was here in the past he was down here. Ted Staples
