I am 35yrs old, yet I know the words to practically everyone of Jim's songs (even though I grew up in Toronto Canada, where I still live). My mom who was a great fan of his, she brought me and my 7 sisters and 3 brothers up on his music. She died 2 years ago and at her funeral, we sang a few songs like What A Friend We have in Jesus and This World Is Not My Home. Now whenever I am missing her really bad, I just pop in one of Jim's Cd's and I can still hear her singing along with the Music.
