My family regards him the same way yours do and so have I had a father who is not more but through out his life has never listen to any other singer than he has listen to the songs of Jim Reeves. Dawn of the 01st of December, we would get up to the beautiful him of We thank thee! sung by him and through out christmas we would hear all his Xmas songs and hymns. In fact there will never be a singer or a voice replacing him in our homes at all and I guess we would all love him to our deaths too.
