I have been a Jim Reeves fan since, i was a kid.
First i must say that 6 weeks after i was born Jim passed away, so to know a mans songs who has been gone as long as ive been here is amazing.
I remember my aunty taking me to a music store to buy a little gift for mum and dad. I picked a tape of Jims music, not knowing what sort of music it was.
I fell in love with his voice, as im sure all the world has.
My favourite from that tape all those years ago was Distant Drums, but since have fallen in love with Snowflake, Yonder comes a sucker, and of course Mexican Joe.
He is still a favourite singer of mine, but with kids i have to find the time to listen to my special music, without them complaining, "oh muuuuuuuum". They of course listen to modern pop music.
I know you dont answer these but i was wondering if his beloved Mary was still alive?
Also did Mary and Jim have any children?
