A Jim Reeves song to me was not just music, it was always a memorable event. I have more favorite songs by Jim than any other artist. close followers are Marty Robbins, Elvis Presley, and Faron Young. Faron was a great fan and friend of Jim's and he did a wonderful tribute album to Jim and his music.
There will never be another like him. I have all of my favourites on CD, luckily, so I can listen to him as often as I want.
