I remember a couple months ago, we received a very, very harsh call from a very angry customer. See asked for the engineer and I wrongly picked up the phone. Well, she let me have it with both barrels a blazing. "This machine is the biggest piece of junk we have ever purchased! The switches burnt up, then a vacuum motor went out! The pump is a piece of ____________!!!! This machine isn't that old dammit!!!!"
Believe me, her voice was so loud that it was hard to understand clearly and she wouldn't let me get a word in edgewise. I even tried mentioning to call me back after she calmed down...but to no avail.
I was thinking as she was screaming, was it the wrong time of the month, or was she going thru the change of life, or......?
Anyways, the screaming finally came to and end and there was a uncomfortable silence. I then asked her the most important question so I could help:
"What model are we discussing here?" After a few confusing comments on her part, she said the model name. Hummmmmm. It wasn't even our machine!!!!!!
When I mention this to her, she never apologized or thank me, or felt bad for me. Instead, she just hung up...."Click"!
Some times, human beings can really be disgusting the way they navigate thru life and thru their communications with others. I can never figure out why some go off the deep end or over the cliff. In this case, it was her purchase and decision to chose that particular model/manufacturer in order to "save" $500 bucks.
Wow, I'm glad we don't have those kind of customers or we might be slowly twisting in the wind here!!!-lol
As my Dad would say, That call was really "Mighty Bad"!!!!
