Had to do a rush vacancy last night for open house today. Just over a year old, I actually thought it was a plush nylon but it was polyester. Owner said they got it from Empire who have the worst installers and claims for loose carpet. I couldnt find anything wrong except black traffic lanes and a greasy dining room. It'scthe same stuff Mohawk is pumping- Air.0 except this one I think Empire makes. I mean it's a good idea because theyvwon't sub professional installers that powerstretch and seam seal. No need to power stretch or even kick in plus no more seam sealing. Too early to tell how it will hold up without stretching in, even jute backed carpets were kicked in. Sure, yeah it's recyclable for the green minded person but the same old typical scratched ugly traffic lanes around areas were beds and couches were. The grease spots throughout were insane and a few remained as permanent but slight. It could be a good thing if it were nylon, repairing is different and a little difficult for me. Pulling it up to get plastic under it on a wood sub floor subsurface flush out pet urine means coming back when totally dry to re-adhere it. That will not be fun. I guess polyester will be the new norm from here on out
